ABBEY ROAD AND PENNY LANE IN WICHITA

The City of Wichita has approved temporarily renaming streets near INTRUST Bank Arena in honor of Paul McCartney’s concert Wednesday, July 19. 

Waterman Street at the intersection of St. Francis has been renamed Penny Lane, while English Street at the intersection of St. Francis has been renamed Abbey Road.  The temporary names will be in place through Thursday.  

Paul’s concert has broken the record for the highest grossing performance at INTRUST Bank Arena.
